Wheel Alignment Technician

Spring Works Wheel Alignment Technician position is perfect for motivated individuals who learn quickly and pay attention to detail. The candidate we seek has an Automotive Certificate (SRJC Automotive Certificate, WyoTech, UTI, etc.) OR a minimum of 1 year of shop experience. Lube tech and/or tire experience qualify. Job Description

Perform 4-wheel alignments using the latest technology (Hunter HawkEye Elite / Hunter Laser). Diagnose steering, suspension, brakes, and undercar issues.

Job Responsibilities

  • Test drive vehicles
  • Conduct digital multi-point inspections, oil changes, and tire rotations
  • Perform wheel alignments on cars & trucks
  • Install steering & suspension parts for alignment-related tasks
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to apply to work performed
  • Communicate technical diagnoses and needed repairs to other employees and customers as required
  • Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities
  • Maintain an organized and neat work area
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rules

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of auto shop experience (preferred) OR
  • Completed Automotive Technician Certification
  • Frequently lifting 35 lbs and the ability to lift 75 lbs
  • Continuous standing and walking
  • Must have a clean and valid driver’s license

Suspension & Brake Technician

Spring Works' Suspension & Brake Technician position is for experienced individuals with several years of shop experience. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of high-quality service and repair delivery. The candidate we seek has an Automotive Certificate (SRJC Automotive Certificate, WyoTech, UTI, etc.) AND a minimum of 3 years of shop experience. If the candidate does not have an automotive certificate, 5 years of shop experience qualifies. Tools are required, and suspension specialty tools are provided (including a scanner).

Job Description

Diagnose & install steering, suspension, and brake systems on passenger vehicles through 1-ton trucks. Install steering, suspension, brake, and undercar parts and components. This position requires your own tools.

  • Proficient in computer and diagnostic scanner technology
